Trainee Solicitor and Justice First Fellow

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Solicitor, through the LEF Justice First Fellowship scheme
You will work with our solicitors and advisers from April 2026 to deliver social welfare law advice to some of the most vulnerable in our community
The Speakeasy Law Centre is based in Cardiff and has given free legal advice for more than 30 years. We employ and train solicitors to advise on debt, welfare benefits, housing and employment problems
You will either have passed the LPC or SQE1
You will have an interest in social welfare law and the third sector, and be passionate about helping people
Starting at £26,000 pa
Holiday entitlement: 35 days pa, including Bank Holidays and Christmas closing
